My grandmother on my mom's side died today at 1:05 AM. In her memory i have written another poem. This one entitled Broken.

Broken

You have lived a full happy life

But now you have left us behind

You’ve gone somewhere better

And you will always be in my mind

You’ve suffered

You’ve cried and wept

Now you have the ultimate cure

Into eternal sleep

Now you’re gone nothing can be done

You’re happy as can be

In this wonderful place as you can see

Walking down the golden road of heaven

Even though you’re happy I can’t help but be in sorrow

I can’t help that I am now broken that your gone

People say you’re in a better place, yes. But what about me

You’ve left me broken with nothing but memories left
